Bluversy

The future of the internet is open.

This is the Bluversy manifesto: the principles that guide how the platform is built. They come before any feature and keep holding as it grows.

The internet is made of encounters.

We learned to play guitar from a stranger's video. We found work, love, grandma's recipe and old school friends. People who would never have been heard found an audience, and those who were far away came closer.

This happens every day. Bluversy starts from there: from what the internet does best, which is bringing people, ideas and ways of doing things together.

Every post is a conversation.

Whoever posts is talking to someone. Sometimes to many people, sometimes to three, sometimes to themselves, to remember later. Knowing who you are talking to changes what you say and how you say it.

Choosing who you talk to is part of expressing yourself, just as much as choosing your words. It is respect for whoever writes and for whoever reads.

Freedom is also autonomy.

Freedom of expression is being able to say what you think. Autonomy is deciding where, to whom and for how long. Each one needs the other.

What you create stays yours: your posts, your history and the relationships you build. Nobody should be stuck somewhere just because that is where their history is kept.

Trust is built in the open.

Rules written to be read. Everyone who takes part knows how things work, what is done with their data and why.

Artificial intelligence comes in the same way: to help think, organize and create, making it clear when it took part, without taking the place of the person who creates and without learning from what is theirs.

Connected to the internet that already exists.

Bluversy doesn't want to be a world apart. The reading, the networks and the tools people already use should fit here, and what is born here should be able to travel out there.

The internet grew because everything linked to everything. That is why we prefer open standards and real connections.

A foundation to learn, work and invent.

What holds for a conversation between friends holds for a classroom and for an organization: knowing who is speaking, choosing who you talk to and understanding who did what.

That is why Bluversy is built as a foundation. On top of it there is room for learning, work and business experiences, and others we will still discover together with the people who arrive.

Open.

Nothing here is finished for good. Bluversy grows with the people who take part: every conversation, every critique and every idea changes what comes next.

The future of the internet is open. We would rather build it together.
